Double Major / Minor Programs
Double Major Program: A senate decision has been made to establish double major (DMP) and minor programs for our university students. Students with a GPA of 70 or above (on a 100-point scale) will be eligible to apply for the double major and minor programs.
In the Double Major Program, students with a GPA of 70 or above can take courses from another department simultaneously with their primary courses. Upon successfully completing these courses, they will graduate with a double major diploma.
Minor Program: The minor program allows undergraduate students to take selected courses from another department at their university concurrently and receive a minor certificate upon successful completion.

Exchange Programs
Our department participates in student exchange programs, primarily ERASMUS+, as well as Farabi and Mevlana, offering students the opportunity for international experience and participation in exchange programs each year.
The Erasmus+ Program encompasses student mobility, allowing university students to study at a higher education institution in a European country or to undertake an internship at a company or any institution/organization abroad. Our students can also participate in this mobility. Students have the chance to be exchange students at another European higher education institution with an ECHE for one or two semesters (between 3-12 months) within one academic year and receive financial support for their time abroad under the program. The financial support provided is non-repayable and is intended to assist only with additional expenses arising from mobility, not to cover all costs. Selected students can participate as “zero-grant Erasmus students” if they wish. A student can benefit from Erasmus study and/or internship mobility for a total of 12 months at each level of study (bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate). Receiving a grant for internship mobility does not prevent students from receiving a grant for study mobility. Participation requirements, grants, and duration information are available on the EU Education Programs Coordination Office website.
The Farabi Exchange Program allows student mobility between universities in Turkey for one semester (only the Fall semester) or one year (Fall and Spring semesters). The exchange not only enhances an individual's social skills but also provides the experience of overcoming challenges. While establishing a new environment and friend group, significant improvements in communication skills are also observed. Alongside the opportunity to receive education from different academics and schools, it enables you to possess different knowledge and skills compared to your peers at your university. Your vision expands. The YÖK provides scholarships unconditionally to students participating in the Farabi Exchange Program.
The Mevlana Exchange Program aims to facilitate the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions that provide education domestically and those that provide education abroad.
